WORKSHOP: ELIZABETH GEERS LOFTIS
Oil Pastel with Watercolor
FEBRUARY 15, 10-4PM, with mid-day break for lunch
In this class, Beth will share her unique technique that begins with oil pastel on watercolor paper, followed by a black watercolor wash; the oil and water resist each other, and the black watercolor soaks into the paper.
Work alongside Beth to create multiple paintings on watercolor paper. Paint Beth's iconic blanket-wrapped women on horseback or choose your own subject matter.
Light snacks and all supplies included but feel free to bring your favorites too. Cost: $150 per person. 10 person limit. REGISTER HERE

"Paint Your Pet" Sip-N-Paint Sunday, March 8th, 1–4pm
You submit a photo and we transfer it to a 16x20 canvas and all paint together in class. As long as you get the values (lights/darks) correct, you can use any colors you like...blacks become purples and blues and browns become pinks, oranges, yellow, and reds!
Photos that work best are taken at eye-level, head and shoulders, looking at the camera, and smiling...like a child's school photo. I-Phone photos work great.
This is a smaller class and instead of step-by step instruction, this class is tailored toward helping each artist individually with group instruction on the basics of painting eyes, noses, mouths, etc.
All supplies and light snacks provided. All skill levels welcome; age 14+ recommended.
BYOB, must be age 21 to consume Alcohol. Spaces are not confirmed until paid and due to the individual nature of this class, no refunds. SIGN UP HERE.
