Collection: Terry Nybo

Born and raised in northern Montana, Terry Nybo has been passionate about drawing and painting since childhood. He studied fine art at Concordia College under Cyrus Running and Norman Bowman and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art and English Education from Montana State University, along with degrees in dentistry from the University of Minnesota.

Terry has continued his artistic education through workshops, courses, museum visits, and plein air painting, studying at the Scottsdale Artists’ School, Pro-ART Workshops, and Beartooth School of Wildlife Art. His representational work encompasses wildlife, landscapes, still life, and the human figure. Rather than simply depicting what he sees, Terry strives to create a poetic and expressive interpretation of his subjects.
