Collection: Kathy Burk
Kathy Burk is an artist and designer whose work is deeply inspired by her father’s ranch in Montana’s Beaverhead National Forest. Fascinated by the history and geological makeup of the land, she draws creative inspiration from the dynamic meadows, traveling wildlife, and dense forests that surround her. Kathy closely examines the relics and rusted implements left by the original settlers, as well as the sweeping landscapes down to the smallest wildflowers. She studies natural color contrasts across the seasons and the underlying geology, translating these observations into vibrant, textured, and richly detailed works in glass.
